Sarah Barrett
Director of Information Architecture, Microsoft
Sarah Barrett is a Seattle-based information architect. Her practice melds old-school information science with rigorous data analysis, just enough research, and an appreciation for what it means to get things done at the enterprise level. She leads the information architecture team in Microsoft's Skilling organization, which publishes Microsoft Learn and other websites. Sarah's previous work was for clients from a wide variety of verticals, including: Adobe, Amazon, Crate & Barrel, Expedia, KPMG, Pearson Publishing, and Safeco Insurance. She has her Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington.
